DRAGGED
Time stolen from a wrinkless face
Childhood laughter, freedom suppressed.
Innocence lost to the ravaging hands
of disease. Darkness creeping into
an already losing soul, splitting
past from future with an ever
widening hole. Puzzle pieces
of a life, no longer create a picture.
Hands still go round dragging out
more days, the margins bleed and loose all
definition. A day becomes weeks,
Weeks to months and months to years
Seconds become so long, as you
lie and watch yourself be taken over. Like
Water added to paint, too thin to share yourself
across the canvas, you glisten for a short while.

Everyone wants to tell me how to live my life
Everyone has an opinion on what Im not doing right.
Everyone has a way that I should be going.
They all think they know this path I've been trudging.
They all think they understand and all been judging.
You're not going fast enough

Everyone wants to help or they don't give a damn
They all know this person or this cure that turns out to be a sham.
Then they blame you for it failing, you must have done something wrong
You obviously want to just be sick and not get better all along
