O, the pull of mighty waves
Whose power has calmed
To gently brush the shores
In timeless effort.
Reaching across miles of promise,
And bridges of dreams.
Hope stands upon the shoreline
Readying for a sign.
An eternal - internal prompter
To stand firm and never waiver.
Ancient tales reach lands end
As broken bits of a puzzle unsolved.
A sweetheart's promise stored
As an undiscovered pearl
Buried in the sand,
Treasure, waiting to be found.
Will this moment last?
Not long enough.
Will the good of life outweigh the heartache?
Unlikely so.
But strong and sure as waves reach
The destination of their desired journey,
So shall all life bridges be crossed,
And...
As long as hope stays,
Love of life will triumph and endure
Just as the mighty ocean waves.
And our hearts will serve
As the skipping stones.

You will be blessed to see her efforts despite the pain and struggle of chronic illness she must endure. What a blessing! And ... her lovely art is for sale.
