*(nam de plume')
*Rosie Macneil is a Scot, born in Africa, who spent most of her early years traveling with her older brother between boarding schools and her parents postings in locations such as the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and Kashmir.
She is a talented artist who, due to the diagnosis of ME/CFS, has been house/bed-bound in varying degrees for the last five years. Now that she is unable to continue to paint with brushes as she once was able to do, thankfully for us, she now paints the world around her with expressive words that she has chosen to share with us!
She has found that writing poetry is ia very good way to work through the frustration and loss that comes along from having a debilitating chronic illness.
She is also engaged in operating a website with her family, dedicated to helping others with ME/CFS called: Help With ME
To find out more about this disorder, and or - obtain help for yourself or others that you know who have this diagnosis, please visit the link provided on this page, and tell them that you found them from The WordSmith and Writer's Block Interactive Writing Community!
